Food is average, only slightly better than fast food Mexican. Very greasy and price is too high. Servers are always nice.
I don't have high expectations for Mexican in Alaska but this was a let down. It could have been good. The high points: the rice was flavorful and moist, my tamale was tasty. This restaurant smells Mexican and even has some of the flavors but it doesn't make the cut. I wish Wasilla would splurge and send the cooks and management to Mexico and let them learn! I think with a little push this could be a good place to eat.
