Excellent food and service! Raw "cheesecake" was amazing - most creative dessert recipe ever. Suggest making reservations.
The food is fine. The service was very good. I visited it with my wife and friends. Parking just in front of the restaurant.
We decided all 3 of us, to do sharing of 3 appetizers and 3 entrees, we also went to LA Bodega store on way to jack sprat to buy 2 bottles of wine to bring with us. We stayed in Girdwood for three nights. It was recommended that we eat at Jack Sprats. After we ate there once, it was so delicious, we had to go back the next day. The salmon and halibut were so fresh and delicious. The food feels like comfort food, yet each recipe has a unique twist. Don't forget dessert!
The atmosphere at Jack Sprat was very cozy and comfortable, especially on a rainy evening in Girdwood. Our server was very sweet, helpful (tracked down our gift certificate when the hostess wasnt able to find it) and had great recommendations. Highly recommend the "Little Brother" wine, ribeye, and yakisoba with salmon on top.
The food here is really unique and your taste buds will be introduced to flavors that are not typical. Everything was really excellent. Best bibimbap I've ever had, and the veggie tacos don't sound appetizing, but they were really delicious. My only regret was not being able to try the deserts. If you're in the area, definitely go.
We are from Seattle and have the perspective of great restaurants. This restaurant could give any restaurant in Seattle a run for the money. And, hands-down, it is better than any of the places we dined at in Anchorage or Talkeetna. Fresh, and local ingredients is the goal and, they succeed. Very casual with friendly and attentive staff.
