I can't resist each time I go to Restaurante Beirut to get one of their exclusive Lebanese Bottles of Wine... It's the best pair with the best Lebanese food in Town it's working every single dime!!
Costa Rica doesn't really have a national cuisine except for casado which is plain white rice, plain black beans, fried plantains and overcooked fish, meat or chicken. We arrived at Restaurant Beirut at 7 pm on a Friday evening in high season and the place was empty, but we were tired from a long day of travel and were glad to be able to park close to the restaurant so we stayed. We received the same "pitch" from the owner as I now see from others here.... 更多
Welcoming and reasonable food but the price! On my credit card at home £123.00 for a meal for 4 - (4 drinks and 3 main meals, starter and desert). I have been going to this restaurant over 10 years. It is absolutely the best lamb I have ever had. The owner raises his own lamb and the recipe has been in the family for generations. Have tried to get it many times without any luck. Will be back there soon. Appetizers are a must.
I had a vegetarian plate for lunch that was tasty but I left hungry. I had intended to only visit the chocolate shop next door (Sibu) but was enticed into the restaurant by a shill outside. Sadly we shared the experience that many habe described here: food is good but the prices of the specials are- once you See them on your Bill - shocking, cannot recommend this place and would never again go there.
My 3 girlfriends and I found this restaurant by our hotel, we walked in without reservations - no customers in restaurant but the owner welcomed us and we listened to him tell us the specialty .. he has a farm with baby lamb he raises for the restaurant (?) it has been marinating/cooking (can't recall) 5 hrs. - same as... 更多
