If you can, ask ahead for the seafood platter for 2 or 4 (not on the menu). You will enjoy. A wonderful restaurant.
Stayed here my 1st night in Golfito and was very impressed, The bar and restaurant are on the water and the sunsets are great. The owner went out of his way to make my stay very comfortable.Cant wait till they get there boat slips in.
We stopped in with another couple for a late lunch and drinks. We had the wings which were excellent. Nice setting overlooking the marina. Reasonably priced and good service.
I only stopped here for a juice, which was delicious, but what attracted me was the ambiance. The open-air restaurant looks out on their small marina, all very nicely decorated and maintained. The menu is quite expansive and, I'm sure, delicious.
Right on the water, cold beer, fresh fish prepared a number of different ways, though we only tried the Caribbean style which was excellent. Bob Marley playing, NBA finals on the TV, friendly staff, pura vida.
Breakfast menu is something special, no prices on the menu, what a surprise! My wife and I ate breakfast here, we both had the same thing, 1. Egg, burn beans and rice, (Gallo pinto) was very bad, 1 piece on tost cut in half... Wow the lack of service, no smiles and bad coffee And the best part of not... 更多
We ate here several times during our stay and each time the food and service were consistent and good. The shrimp was fresh and prepared any way you like it. You can't go wrong with the traditional rice dishes (arroz con pollo, arroz con mariscos). The patacones with frijoles is a great starter for the table. Go check it out... 更多
We enjoyed several visits to Mar & Luna while in Golfito (drinks with appetizers, lunch & dinner). Enjoying the great view we had Red Snapper done both Caribbean & Mediterannean styles that were amazing. Veggies steamed to perfection. Ceviche mixto so fresh - not a bite left in the bowl. Tuna salad was even better than anticipated with lots of... 更多
