We had lunch here. The cheese burger was tasteless and my wife's octopus was really bad. No imagination, no effort to make good food (it's not that difficult), no ambiance, no energy. Just plain bad. The service was good.

they were recommendation in the frommers book so we tried it. the shrimp rice was bland no flavor it was disappointing. the garlic fish was better. prices is average not as inexpensive as the book said anymore. friendly staff.
We went there twice to have dinner while we were in Puerto Viejo. It isn´t an elegant restaurant or anything of the sort but the dishes are abundant and very, very good.It is also well served and very cheap for what you get.
