Why go to a fake deli? The French Onion soup was bland. The Reuben was not toasted. The salad bar was not special. Not a good value for the price.
Jason's Deli is one of the very few places around Hoover where you can get a bowl of soup and a serve yourself salad bar. The salad bar is kept fresh and full of great salad toppings and other sides. It is a great place for a quick lunch or dinner.
Next to my hotel. I have eaten at many Jason's Deli's and always liked them. This was typical. I had chicken noodle soup and a turkey club sandwich with fruit on the side.
We thought we would try a Deli as we had been on the road for a while and wanted a change. The reviews looked good so we decided o eat there. We read the menu and decided on The Managers Special which included a half sandwich, soup and a bag of potato chips. My wife ordered a corned beef sandwich,... 更多
First, this is a good restaurant and my wife and I eat there about twice a month. The salad bar is usually our choice (I don't like the way they prepare their sandwiches - but that's another story). I had the salmon slaw salad, it was excellent. Service is good. Food is delivered to your table. Large area for groups. Next to Fresh Market. I'd recommend this place. Also affordable.
Beef Stew! This seasonal stew is the closest I have had to my dad's stew. It was so good we ordered extra to take home with us. Also love love the salad bar.
There were 8 of us that ate a late lunch here. We had everything: sandwiches both hot and cold, salad bar, and different soups. My only complaint was my soup wasn't hot, just luke-warm. Free ice cream, yum!
Staying just around the corner at the Hampton, this place is a good choice for quality eats. Ask for the menu, the items listed on the wall is but a small sample of what they offer.
