Love this place. Easy in and out. Fantastic flavors with natural ingredients. A gem in Homewood! I love the avocado, buttermilk, strawberry, and peanut butter, and coffee flavors.
We decided to take my out-of-town in-laws to Homewood's pride & joy, the original Steel City Pops. They were very impressed by it. They both got the coffee pops. I had to take a bite, since I have heard from so many people that that is their favorite. It was outstanding! I only wish they had a decaf version for... 更多
Steel City Pops are a great treat on a hot day. We first tried them a couple of years ago, and they are worth a visit. They are freshly made with natural ingredients. Whether you are in Huntsville, Auburn, or at Homewood (B'ham) a must go to if you are in the area. Specialty popsicles, either fruity or creamy. All ingredients are natural and fresh. Every thing is mixed and made on site. The taste is beyond anything I've ever had. Didn't realize what freezing and shipping did to taste. Pops are $3 or $4.50 depending on type. It is worth every penny
Lisa, who went to school at UAB in Birmingham, led us here on Saturday afternoon, after lunch at Big Bad Breakfast. It is a gem, housed in an Air Silver Bullet. The flavors available vary, yet, the day we were there, all sounded good. I got a Hibiscus, and it was delicious. Find it, and go.
Stopped by for dessert after dinner. Lots of yummy flavors listed on the menu, so it often takes me a while to make my final decision. Especially grateful for all the gluten-free options! They were out of the Lemon Icebox Pie pops by the time we arrived, so I'll need to plan another trip to check out that one.
