After having been to international outlets, this was a total disappointment in chennai. The service is too slow. Asked for extra chutney, which never came. The food was not that great too. I am sure, there will be better dosas and idlis served in chennai. Overall didnt find it worth the hype.
We reached after 4pm , so it was closed for lunch. Could order only snacks. The plain dosa was very good and light to eat. Have never tasted an idli this good.
Saravana Bhavan specialises in authentic South Indian cuisine at very reasonable prices. Apart from it being very nutricious, it caters to various tastes. The facility is modestly furnished and operated, to cater to a large cross section of clientele.
