A must do if you're in Rio. Order a beer and "pastéis", lean or sit on the wall by the bay and enjoy the great view!
Do you wanna have a Carioca experience? Go to Bar Urca during the weekend, order a beer and some snacks, sit at the mureta and the the time pass by, watch the amazing sunset and feel the vibe that surrounds this amazing neighborhood of Rio.
It's always nice... tasty food and very well done. Went there more than 3 times always good. The prices are higher than average but it worth the "sacrifice". Arrive early. The restaurant above the bar is small and tight causing long wait time to be seated.
Oh my word!!! Outstanding food. Small, intimate restaurant overlooking the bay. We arrived early for lunch just before 12 so managed to get a table without a reservation. About 85% of tables were already reserved and all tables overlooking the bay were reserved. We had the shrimp broth and crab meat in a shell starter. For mains the grilled cod... 更多
Great bar to visit for a drink and snack after visiting Sugarloaf mountain, as it's very close. Authentic place, it was recommended to us by friends from São Paulo. Not many tourists, which is a bonus. Big beers (cerveza) served in styrofoam holders to keep cool and protect glass. Take across the street to sit at the water. Visit for... 更多

The main appeal is not the food, but the location and atmoshpere. There is a seawall right across the street, where most clients sit, relishing finger food, enjoying a cold beer and soaking up the afternoon sun. Cariocas... 更多
Not only is this place SUPER yummy, the atmosphere is amazing. You can get a table at the restaurant upstairs or you can eat some snacks on the street while taking in the beautiful view and drinking an ice cold beer.
End of the afternoon, every farewell, every friends meeting has to be at Bar Urca, it is a lovely combination of stunning views, beautiful people...a meeting where people who love Rio love to meet up!!! Informal ambience, very cold beer and simply marvelous snacks. The brazilian empanadas called PASTEL are incredible! You should try and once you are there you... 更多
