Shock and disappointment! I read the reviews and made an on the fly decision to eat here. Been to Austin numerous times on business had never eaten here, my expectations were high, but I got the server from the twilight zone! He asked me if I had ever dined with them, I said no, he said I'll be back to... 更多
For a "hotel" restaurant, I must rank this one among the top of the many I have tried. The steak was exceptional and the ambiance and service the same. Expect to pay for the quality but well worth it.
We had dinner on a Wed. night before Chris Botti at the Paramount. The service was good, and all of our entrees were delicious. The steak salad was perfect, the tortilla soup and fig salad were also good. Highly recommend!
Roaring Fork is connected to the hotel we were staying in - Intercontinental - so lunch at Roaring Fork was an easy choice. We split the Rib Eye steak - we were fighting each other for more bites! Melt in your mouth deliciousness. I would eat there again on the next visit to Austin.
The dinner experience as really good. The green chile mac and cheese and the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin were absolutely amazing!. Overall the experience was very nice. Only downfall was that the chips were not fresh or warm.
We enjoyed our drinks and dinner very much. Our dinner companion really didn't want to go there because it is a chain restaurant. But we couldn't find the Thai Restaurant we were looking for and popped in to Roaring Fork. 35 minute wait and it was accurate. Drinks at the bar were okay. Two of us had pork tenderloin wrapped... 更多
My daughter and I stayed at the hotel where this restaurant is located and we needed a quick bite before heading out to a concert. We ate lunch here and were not disappointed. I had fish tacos and my daughter had pastrami dip with fresh chips. We were both very pleased with our choices. The tortilla soup was also very... 更多
I am not a reviewer that takes time to review every resturant I eat at, if they are average - you won't find a review here. However last evening some friends hosted a business dinner at the Roaring Fork, and I couldn't be more pleased with the food and service. The quality and seasoning of the food was excellent -... 更多
Our table of four ordered the Braised Carnitas, Big Burger and a Chicken Salad. The service was excellent. All the food was above average, but none of went away raving about it. The Braised Carnitas I had could use an additional tortilla. It did come with really good bkack beans, guacamole and corn salsa. The jalepeno cornbread muffins before the... 更多
We don't go to Austin without one mandatory meal at Roaring Fork. We've eaten at both in Austin, love the bar downtown. The one in Stonelake has a nice patio with a view of Quarry Lake. You don't go there without getting their Kettle of Green Chili Pork, we just call it pot of pig and it's worth fighting over.... 更多
We dined here on my 60th birthday and could not have chosen a better place. Our server Amanda was great as was the dinner. I had the braised beef short ribs topped with a fried egg ($28) that was fantastic. We also had the delicious blackened redfish, sauteed asparagus, and Caesar salad. The Artazuri Garnacha ($30) was very drinkable. We... 更多
Great food and the service was excellent, i was with family and friends, we all enjoyed the relaxed environment and we would go there again.
We were looking for good food with a casual atmosphere and we found just that at Roaring Fork. Our meals were delicious! Everything was flavored nicely. The deep-fried avocado special with pulled pork was a real treat! The wait staff was pleasant and no one rushed us out of there, which was wonderful after a long day touring UT. It... 更多
A group of 12 of us girls had dinner here for my friend's bachelorette party. The restaurant was super accommodating and even surprised us by putting us in the private room even though we didn't reserve it. The cocktails were strong according to the group and they had a great wine selection. The fried avocado with pork appetizer was amazing!... 更多
