We visited Guero's for lunch. I love the menu. I picked 2 different kinds of enchiladas -- both were excellent (cheese and picadillo). The salsa was good, but my husband wanted it spicier; I wanted it chunkier. No problem -- I went up to the salsa bar and made him a dish with jalapeno's and one for me with the... 更多
A beautiful Saturday afternoon probably was not the best time to visit Guero's: it was difficult to get beyond noise and chaos and enjoy the food. Being from out of town, we didn't know what South Congress was like. I'm sure the food was good but we bolted it down and left asap. I do remember the wonderful salsa verde... 更多
We enjoyed our dinner in the South Congress area. A lot of options on the menu. We went with a chicken flauta dish which was very good and the special of the day....would definitely order again. My wife got the oaxaca especial ... carne guisada taco and felt it was fair.....almost like stew beef in a taco.... probably wouldn't order... 更多
This a great place to eat. Steak taco was tasty as well the chicken chipotles terrific. Was not crazy about their margaritas...I have tasted much better. Everything else was great and prices are excellent.
I love Guero's. The food is fresh and tasty. There are three options with the ubiquitous chips and salsa and my choice is always the pico de gallo. Very vegetarian friendly and good portions. I almost always have the Chalupa plate. Only downside is that it is often crowded so I try to go off hours and parking can be... 更多
Nice interior, lone guitarist playing on the patio outside. Good tacos - the fish taco was very good. Small margarita that was weak - do not recall seeing on the menu that you could upgrade! Would return.
Nice place for lunch in a fun area of Austin. Large room nicely decorated. Women making tortillas by hand in a central area so you know they are fresh. Good chips and a salsa bar. We had the daily gordita special. Okay not great.
My husband and I visited for breakfast. Great food, quick service and the place has an interesting history. The fresh tortillas are idea if you are suffering a mild hangover!
Traditional tex mex food south of congress. Large room with solid tasty food. The bar service could use a seperate wait staff but once we fought through to the bar, drinks were flowwing. Reasonably priced and great for large groups.
I love this place. They have live music in their Oak Garden and they have the best food in town. I come when I can squeeze it in to my fly by night drives to the Texas Hill Country. This place is taco heaven! Fresh and fabulous! Why would I go anywhere else. Enough said!
