Taj is a typical Indian restaurant with a full range of dishes, both vegetarian and with meat. No surprises here. Food is good and so is the service. Prices are mid range for this tourist town. It is a little off the beaten path but worth looking for.
We love Indian food and Taj certainly made the list of delicious dinners. As we don't have an Indian restaurant in our hometown, when we stumbled on the Taj Mahal in Ashland, we gave it a try. It was wonderful! The ambiance was fitting, and we were lucky enough to get their weekly (Thursdays only) belly dancer cabaret show.
Overall a good experience. I enjoy the buffet to a great extent - very reasonable price for the amount of food (both for vegetarian and meat-lover) Very friendly staffs as well, they were nice and try to accommodate our request for a bigger table for almost 20 people.
