Don't expect flash decor but the food is delicious... and cheap. The iced tea is a winner too. I can't go past their Kway Teoh
Jean and his lovely wife takes great pride in what they do and this is reflected in the cleanliness of the place and the quality of food served. Am happy that they have opened next door to our villa, such a convenient, scenic 5 minute walk away! We will be sending many of our guests there for lunch and dinner.... 更多
We began eating here when they were on Sri Wedari. It took us awhile to find their new location, not because it's hard to find. But no one knew where they went. We are happy they just changed location because the food is good and reasonable. If you like pork try the BBQ pork, or the sweet and sour with... 更多
This restaurant is right off the Ubud high street, and was full of mopeds outside, even though there were just a few people eating there. Sat down, ordered an iced tea (which came with ice) and a an orange juice (which also came with ice). Initiate Fear of Bali Belly routine. We drank our drinks quickly hoping that we would be... 更多
Very friendly host Jean en his lovely wife who does the best curry in Bali! They introduced us to their massaman curry and it was really the best - therefor we had dinner there every evening. Lovely setting on the rice paddies. They also own a villa where you can stay - next time definitely!! Thanks Jean .......
We have eaten at Jean and Dolls restaurant twice and Doll is an amazing cook, creating the best Thai food in Ubud and probably Bali (in our opinion). It's a lovely drive through rice paddies north of Ubud. Very clean restaurant, lovely gardens and they also have a room or two. Bintangs are the offered beverage. Definately worth the drive!... 更多
This place is just off the road about 4km north of Ubud on the way to the rice terraces. The owners, Jean (a nice Dutch guy) and his lovely wife (Doll from Thailand) run this great place. All the food is cooked right in front of you to order & is the most authentic thai cooking you'll get anywhere. We... 更多
If the bustle of town (Ubud) becomes overwhelming head out on Jalan Tirta Tawar for delicious home-style Thai food, made to order and served with love by an expat Dutch man and his Thai wife. It's on the road to Tegalalang ( famed as the location of the Eat, Pray, Love movie rice terraces) and just a few kilometres from... 更多
