This review is specifically dedicated to the mushroom lasagne, which was absolutely lipsmacking. The pizzas are also commendable. Coupled with a good view and hospitable service its a nice restaurant to visit in Leh.
I am generally very sceptical of having Western food in Asian-owned restaurants, but I really wanted some carbs and a change of food so I chose Il Forno. The pasta I had turned out to be really good - not exceptional for a connoisseur in pasta, but much better than one could expect from Leh.
I'm a pizza snob so I was very happily surprised when I tried their pizza and found it to be delicious!!! Beautification of Leh means streets dug up and palls of dust over everything. Access to Il Forno is now like an obstacle Course BUT perservere. the food is awesome and also miraculous when you see the conditions under which it is prepared. it is healthy food, safe to eat and tasty. the dust from the street is free.
Beautiful place with a refreshing menu. Best part the way th serve tea- if u order for a ginger lemon honey tea - they will give u diced ginger in hot water - lemon and honey on the side and then q tea bag. So it's not a typical honey ginger flavoured tea it's just true to its name- authentic... 更多
