Great food at decent prices. Staff is very friendly. We went for lunch and the restaurant was packed - regardless, food was served fairly quickly. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Tela!
I was a bit disappointed in Northern Lights, perhaps because it had been so highly recommended by a Honduran acquaintance. The night I ate there, I was the only customer, which probably should have been a clue. I ordered the grilled fish filet, which came with a salad, rice, and fries. We were 5 people visiting the place, we order Fried Fish and Conch Soup. The quality of the Fish was very good but the Soup, not really what we expected. Food was expensive, it wasn't so good. Poor quality, it used to be good five years ago. Staff was rude and careless.

All I know about Luces del Norte is that their seafood soup (I ordered the 'Princesa', which was a pretty good-sized bowl) is probably the most delicious soup I've had in my entire life. I'm sure their other food is great, too, but I'd go back for their soup alone in a heartbeat - delicious!
We popped in and had a couple of cervezas and the "famous seafood soup" - well let me say it is famous for a reason. It could quite possibly be the best soup I have ever had in my life. Seriously. If you are in the area it is a must.
