Great place to make a short stop and spoil yourself with a nice cup of hot local chocolate, bonbons or Sacher torte and chocolate alfajores. Budget friendly and good service.
I don't recommend the factory at Para Ti in Sucre. It's very short and you only see one room through a window. Half of the tour is a video and half of the rest of a tour is looking at photos. Very little information us transferred too. Also the host shop is horrible - you can't go in and have... 更多
There are two locations Arenales & Guar. The one on Guar has 3 little tables for coffee and desserts. The chocolate expresso was a delicious drinking chocolate. The desserts on the next table looked pretty fantastic as well. The locations on Arnales just sells chocolates.
I didn't know there was good chocolates from Bolivia! But the chocolate from Para Ti was so good, it was almost as good as the Norwegian chocolate! ;) But so much cheaper!! And a must try is the hot chocolate expressos!!
I came with a friend who wanted to buy some chocolates for gifts and we ended up buying a few truffles to try. They were only a couple of bolivianos each so it wasn't much. Really tasty. Each of the smaller chocolate bars was 8 Bs which is just over a dollar.
Great place to have a mini snack! Sweet pastries and coffee on the menu. Although when they gave me my change I couldnt find the small change only the notes. Only when I asked for it,looks like it was hidden in a very small pocket.
There are actually two of these shops in downtown sucre, plus they sell the bars in the supermarkets (they're the same price). My absolute favorite were the coconut truffles! They were to die for!!! There are an incredible amounts of different flavored to try, and since I was there for a week and a half, I think I tried most... 更多
After two weeks visiting Bolivia, you are often looking for a nice and quiet place to take a break: here it is ! Amazing hot chocolate and chocolate shots for an affordable price, nothing compare to Europe. You should definitely try it in the patio !
This little shop is just off the Plaza en Calle Arenales. Well worth a visit. There are only about three tables, but we have never found it too crowded for service.
