The cinnamon rolls and banana bread are wonderful and if you can get a seat in the restaurant, they serve good cheap burgers, homemade soups and hearty breakfasts.

We ate a couple of times at Dona Luisa's during our stay in Antigua. Because we were staying in a place that had a kitchen during our vacation we went to Dona Luisa's to buy fresh bread (it was cool seeing them put the loaf through a vintage bread slicer) and fresh yogurt along with some granola for the yogurt.... 更多
Just forget every other place in town and go here for the banana bread. It is just incredible. It will serve a great dessert, an amazing walk-about-town sweet bread and also as a source of energy for a volcano climb.
This restaurant is one of the local landmarks of Antigua. As an expat living in Guatemala for over 25 years, this is the goto place of the locals for great food in Antigua. I also strongly recommend their cakes and bakery items. Their banana bread is known as one of the best around.
