Great Irish Pub with good menu of bar food and Irish stables. Bartenders are friendly and servers attentive.
Stopped for lunched. Loved the old building, food was good . Beef stew, cottage pie, salads all good. Bar scene at night. Hope to go back before we leave
Having a Guinness draft in a nice pub like the Galway Bay is always fun. All of the food looked great and we heard many nice comments about it (we just stopped in for a beer). The bartender was a pleasant young lady, the pub was very busy because of a Festival outside the door on Maryland Street, and everyone... 更多
We are local and have been here many times and the food has always been great. We prefer to eat in the bar side for the atmosphere. The restaurant side is good, not too noisy, a little bright, but lacks the appeal of the bar. Nevertheless the food is always great. Fish and chips, burgers, lamb stew, and shepherd's pie... 更多
Location is great place to stop for dinner, relaxed and casual. Great menu and brew. Recently celebrated a weeknite birthday dinner there and had a wonderful chat with staff, nicely prepared appetizers, enjoyed the menu selections and had an all around good time.
We went here for dinner because of the great reviews. We sat in the bar area, and our table was small and perfect for the two of us. The bar area wasn't too loud even though there were quite a few people there on a Sunday late evening. We were going to have an entree, but the appetizers looked so... 更多
Have been here a few times, good atmosphere, good food, good beer. Service in the bar A+, service on the restaurant side C+. I don't love Irish food, but they have a lot too choose from and I would go again.
A pub setting, through and through. Lunch was just OK. Galway's take on a French dip (Dublin dip) came with a cup of very greasy, tasteless broth. Fries were good. Friends had an Irish Reuben and a salmon salad, which they liked. The Reuben got a rave review.
My sense of the Annapolis restaurant scene is that despite the availability of local seafood, they're not serving a sophisticated clientele and the food should be slightly better. I had the crab cake and fried oysters which came with an underwhelming potato leek soup. Oysters were fishy, crab cake was fine but not a revalation. Go to drink.
