We were looking for a place that serves alcohol and Barhana is one of them. The staff is not that nice, but the place itself is worth going. The food was ok, nothing special.
We have been to Barhana twice during our four-day-visit to Sarajevo. We have tasted ginger and carrot soup, zucchini soup, Bosnian pot, spicy chicken stew. We ate here several times. Many choices, good traditional food. Atmosphere very good, you can sit outside in a courtyard.
We have enjoyed the menu variety and the tasty food at this restaurant, both Bosnian dishes (Bosnian pot is very good value) and more "international" ones. The service however left me puzzled. Good night out at this little local tucked away down an alleyway. The restaurant has good ambience and a charm of its own the food was generous and very good as was the service. We had the Beef Risotto at 10BAM and the Stuffed Peppers at 6BAM, the local 330ml draft beers were 2BAM
