Love the intriguing art in the entry way (for sale) but the Pisco Sours in Happy Hour are what kept us coming back. The decor is some combination of Chinese-Inca filigree and they do great food as well.
This places is really stylishly decorated and each dish is super tasty. We came back again and again during our time in Cusco. Always playing nice tunes. Some dishes. At sound simple but they are all full of flavour. Love the mulled wine on a chilly Cusco evening. Yum!
We came by this place going uphill to Plazeta San Blas. The decor is very nice fusion of modern and andean styles and the music was great. What a refreshing change of pace from the usual huge, boring menus most restaurants have in Cuscu. The Macondo Cafe has a smaller menu with delicious offerings appealing to all tastes. We had a delicious dinner of Bacon wrapped Alpaca, baked potato and salad. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was comfy and romantic. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Okay, we didn't eat here (kitchen was not open yet) but we did have 2 for one pisco sours twice at 16 soles total. They were good, they were strong, the seating is comfortable and the music at just the right volume. Good place to start an evening.
The great issue here is that is has no concept at all. They tried to make a souvenir and art store besides a bar that pretends to be a restaurant. The result: it is nothing. The staff is sometimes in the bar, sometimes in the Art store and when they remember the customers seated for food, go to the kitchen... 更多
