Slow service, disappointing pizza and smoky interior harsh on the eyes. Decent selection of pizza toppings and sizes, and not too pricey. Pizzas were very cheesy. Garlic bread with mozzarella starter was nice!
It has been months since I have had pizza because finding gluten-free dough in South America is pretty much impossible. So you can imagine my excitement when I find Los Lenos. The food was absolutely delicious. I got a pepperoni pizza with quinoa crust, and it was exactly what I needed to cure a 6 month craving. Unfortunately, I have... 更多
This restaurant is truly overrated. Prices for Pizza and 2 alcoholic beverages were higher than in our home country (Germany). Service was pour, too. Waited for hours. Didn't ask if we'd like to drink more. And the most important thing: The Pizza served cannot call itself a Pizza. Hardly no vegetables on a Veggie Pizza, just greasy Cheese-mush and a... 更多
We arrived in Arequipa after a 13 hour bus ride from La Paz, Bolivia. It was late, it was raining and I was starving. Our hostel owner directed us to Los Lenos around the corner and I was so grateful. Service was fast and friendly, even though it was fairly late in the evening. Food was excellent, my companion enjoyed... 更多
The place has a nice wooden oven and board games to play at the table.... But unfortunately is NOT gluten free as the kind waiter told us. I appreciated the honesty and we had to leave since I am celiac. Would go back for drink though!
Good ratings for this place are probably from local hipsters who use it as a hangout spot. We went there for dinner and the pasta sauce was clearly no fresh (heated in the microwave) and untasty while the pizza was average at best. The service was poor and we got our appetizer after 40 minutes of waiting, just a couple... 更多
I have been gluten free for over five years and I can honestly say this is one of the best gluten free pizzas I have ever had! Imagine my surprise finding this in Peru... such a treat. The gluten free crust is quinoa flour, and somehow it's not dry, thin and crunchy. The setting is cozy and artsy. I would... 更多
Los Lenos pizzas;can't talk about the pastas but the oven slow cooked pizza was defenitely the best i had in south America.South americans have no clue of how to make a good pie but these guys have learned & the wood burning oven makes for an excellent pizza. We had the all dressed los lenos 30cm and it was enough for... 更多
At a glance there are lots of vegetarian pasta sauces, but when you look closer they are all very basic. The interesting sauces all contain meat. It would be so easy to have some vegetables or olives in one of the sauces. The pizza options were better. The gnocchi Neapolitan was very dull. Service from the manager was excellent but... 更多
Went for dinner at los Lenos before flying out of Arequipa. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is unique and inviting. The high arched ceilings and white volcanic stoned walls are a testament to the Spanish colonial style of the city. Good, friendly and fast service. Complimentary garlic toast. Delicious thin crust, wood oven baked pizzas. I didn't think I would... 更多
