Four of us went to a late lunch here. Food and service were just great. Very relaxing and worth the visit
We ate here as part of a larger Quito tour, and had a nice dinner. There were many choices, and several native Ecuadorian native foods, which we enjoyed. Nice setting and it was a good start to our Quito cuisine experience.
What a delightful meal. Dishes were authentically Ecuadorean, fresh, and delicious. We were surprised the restaurant was not packed but we did eat on the early side. Best meal we had in Quito by far!
The moment I faced two-sided entry doors and the left door panel was closed I got suspicious. I remember about 30 years ago back in Moscow, USSR, this was a common practice. Our hotel recommended this restaurant and even had a shuttle to take us there. It is located above the Sucre Opera House. We dined in elegant surroundings and were treated royally by the staff. The menu is very local, featuring Ecuadorean surprises like Guinea Pig, Amazon herbed roasted fish, and coconut milk dishes from the Esmeraldas region.
Enormous dining room, tasting menu, comfortably furnished and good, upscale Ecuadorian food. Perfect service--as we were the only people dining that evening.
Our dining experience was first rate! The Theatrum picked us up at our hotel and returned us after dinner. The menu options were wonderful, and the service exceptional.
We went there two times for dinner. The food quality was very good. The atmosphere was very nice and the service excellent. Prices were rather high. Great place for a nice dinner - highly recommended if you stay in Quito.
