Been here a few times as it is local to us. Food is ok, they have a good kids selection. Pizzas are good. Service is a lot better since they installed ipad menus.
On wednesday approximately 1.45 pm. I visited the restaurant. The irony of the sign at the door which states "please wait to be seated" i waited 15 minutes with no one approaching. I decide to just go in and sit.. took a table and sit. 10 minutes with completely no approach from any staff. So i stood up and decided... 更多
I went here on Sunday at midday with my son and daughter in law plus my four year old granddaughter. There was a short queue on arrival but no more than a ten minute wait for a table and all the while my granddaughter was happy playing on the adjacent field. We typed in our orders and waited a little... 更多
A casual dining Australian Asian dining concept by Tadcaster Hospitality, Cafe Melba blends influences from Melbourne, Australia, with influences from Southeast Asia. Their 1st outlet opened in July 2012 in Goodman Arts Centre, and Cafe Melba has done well enough to open a 2nd outlet in May 2016 in Mediapolis. Located in out-of-the-way areas in the East and West of... 更多
Cafe melba - both spots - are great for a casual breakfast with family and children. They always have a kids play spot ready to go and the menu is full of great options for everyone. The eggs on rye bread with avocado is great and the potato rosti and eggs is also nice. Pancakes are fluffy but do not... 更多
Had been for breakfast so decided to drop in for dinner. The set up is very nice and interior decor is good and not too noisy. Parking outside is a big plus. They have gone for the government subsidised productivity whacky ordering tablets which are tacky and don't actually help at all. So if course the waiter did the order... 更多
Mostly patronized by expats, the restaurant can get very crowded especially on a weekend. Line up early as there a "no reservation" policy. The inside interiors is very classy - sofas and throw pillows and way cooler especially on a humid day. Outside tables have fan and leads to a green field where one can play football or kids can... 更多
A bunch of us had lunch at cafe Melba the other day. Between us we ordered some pasta, salads, pizza, duck confit and lamb vindaloo. Everything was fantastic and came to us pretty quickly. Highly recommend cafe Melba
We read some of the negative reviews about this place but we were very happy with our experience here. The guy on the door did a good job welcoming us in and finding us a table, and showing us how to work the ipad menu (for us, the 80s never ended...) Ordered the roast vegetable side and the porcini mushroom... 更多
Service was OK and food reasonable. Salads are a good choice. Room for kids to run around but the restaurant is reported to be exceptionally busy at weekends and booking is not permitted. It is quite expensive for basic food but then to a non-resident everything here appears pricey!
