I went to Vietopia for late lunch. Their Pho and fresh spring rolls were no doubt good. Too bad, I could have enjoyed the food more if their aircon were working. It was very hot and stuffy. Hope they can have them fixed soon.
The restaurant is outdated, dirty, with stain on the cushions.. Yukkk... Too bad because the food is amazing, everything we ordered was tasty, full of flavors without overpowering... Definitely will come back if they decided to change the furniture and the interior
I have been dining at Vietopia for years. It is arguably one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in Jakarta. In fact, I have never had a bad meal there, but I am providing a rating of 3 simply because the owners have allowed the location to run down. When you enter the restaurant, you feel as though you are in... 更多
Located in Menteng across from Huis Menteng, this is a good place for enjoying Pho. There are different vietnamese style dishes available, all for relatively low prices. Reservations should be made for larger groups. The temperature was abit warm as the A/Cs weren't fully functional. Because of that, think twice before bringing small kids or people who don't do well... 更多
My favorite here is the mango smoothies which is very nice. The food that i like would be their beef pho. I have to admit though that the first time i was there many years ago the food was nicer but even now it is still decent.
The location is great, you can easily find it. The room was quite large, you can book the whole room for a private dinner. For someone who never try Vietnamese food, I was very happy with the taste. I tried the chicken broth (Pho, isn't it?) and the flavor was great. Vietnamese coffee, as always, tasted good. I gave it... 更多
Had a lunch appointment with some friends. Arrived early at 11.30 turned the door was still locked with the "OPEN" sign on. I needed to waive to the waiter inside openig door for me. They said they usually open at 11.30. Okay. We ordered some thing to eat from Pho Noodle and some beef and chicken main menu. Taste average... 更多
I had a craving for Pho today. Google'd and Vietopia came up as being closest to my current location. The Pho was so-so. Far from authentic actually, but passable if you have no other choice. I won't come back for seconds definitely. The spring rolls were absolutely terrible. The menu said it would have chicken, shrimp, egg and vegetables. Well,... 更多
At the row of old buildings converted into restaurant, café and reflexology. Red door leads into an all white interior. The Vietnamese food place has spring rolls, papaya salad, glass noodle, rice set, and pho. Tried pho ga after so many years, still doesn’t taste good. I am not supposed to complain about the chicken, but they put too many... 更多
