Kalo is there for ages, it is a Jerusalem neighborhood caffe with excellent coffe and pastries There salads and breakfasts are great Recommended
Kalo offers superb dishes for fair prices. Kalo keeps surprising me with their seasonal offerings. Just when I think they can not wow me again...they do! I have now eaten here MANY times and I can not say enough about how delicious and fresh the meals here are...Kalo is by far one of my most favorite cafes. The salads are... 更多
A relative who lives in the neighborhood recommended this restaurant and this choice of the Boker M'funak for a nice breakfast. The huge spread for two included eggs each, breads, salads, spreads, cheese, olives, juice, and coffee. Service was great. It was nice to sit outside (except maybe when the bus stopped every 15 minutes in front of us), except... 更多
I'm a big fan of salads, but most restaurants offer the same boring items. At Kalo, I enjoyed a wide selection of salads that were interesting and filling. Service was a little slow, but it's a small place and a favorite with locals.
+Excellent customer service! +Fresh ingredients +Specials of the day are also listed in English (not always the case and I greatly appreciated that they were here). +I loved the homey environment We ordered the Quinoa black lentil salad and the fettuccine special...both were DELICIOUS! We will absolutely come back to Kalo!
This place is our happiest surprise to date in Jerusalem! A wonderful cafe with a delicious, affordable breakfast, and a friendly, attentive staff. This was THE best oatmeal I've ever eaten! My husband has a croissant stuffed with smoked salmon and cream cheese & our friend had eggs with an abundance of fresh "salatim" (Israeli salads consisting of cucumbers, tomatoes,... 更多
I met some friends here for early supper. Younger couple with two little girls (4 and 1) and another friend my age ('older'). The coffee was good, the salad I split with my friend (Haloumi cheese, black lentils, quinoa) was delicious. Our friends had two cheese toasts, served with a fresh lovely little salad. I also got a cheese toast... 更多
As other reviewers have stated, you might wait a long time for your meal but you won't be disappointed! In fact the variety and sheer magnitude of menu items is perfect for cross-pollination and meal-sharing! To qualify, we have only eaten breakfast and brunch at Kalo so I can't comment on "late in the day offerings," only to say that... 更多
We have lived in the Baka neighborhood for many years and since it opened, we have frequented Kahlo. We love it. We love the quirky atmosphere and have always found the food delicious. The only thing one has to know before going is that all food is made to order and the kitchen is small. Therefore, it sometimes takes a... 更多
