My husband and I had a lovely and relaxed lunch at L'Usine this afternoon, a weekday. The space is bright, modern and artful. We came in for a late lunch, around 2:30pm. There were plenty of tables available and we took 2 seats at the commons table. Our order: Cafe Sua, Iced Lime Juice, Beef Meat Pie, Pork sandwich and... 更多
Went there twice in 4 days since we enjoy the food there, definitely order the Vietnamese coffee. The only problem is difficult to find this restaurant as there is no sign you can find on the street, it's like a secret restaurant.
I'm not sure what a hipster is, but I guess this would appeal to one. Old workshop/factory space, old stuff for decoration, modern stuff for sale, pressed juices and smoothies, good coffee, salads, sandwiches and a mix of French and Vietnamese standards. Very busy with a mostly young crowd, ok to decent food. We went to both branches, Dong Khoi... 更多
One of the trendiest places we found on our walking around. Great view of the Opera house from the balcony. Good coffee but not cheap. Food here looked great, but we didn't sample it on our visit. A nice place to escape the heat of the day.
I frequented L'Usine when I lived in Saigon back in 2011, and was thrilled to see it still open and more successful than ever. Housed in a funky space, warehouse style, the cafe is up a narrow staircase. Love the space, it's so interesting. Access for wheelchairs or prams appears non-existent. The food is excellent, fresh and cafe style. They... 更多
Never hurt anyone. This is a hipster place, but they have good food, friendly atmosphere, and it's a place where you can plug in and get some work done if you can tune out the din of other patrons. They also happen to have a decent selection of Moleskine notebooks, that alone makes this place very attractive to me. Their... 更多
位處隱秘料理一流，餐廳旁的精品專櫃銷售名牌衣物，享用美味的同時可以順便購物。 L'Urine located mysterious building. First time I went the building, I felt looking like traditional market, however the restaurant inside area is very good surrounding. The food is also delicious. You can visit the closely shop for some clothes.
We were there with a group of 4, one of us had to wait 1 hour for the breakfast whereas the rest got theirs after 30 minutes. Same thing happened at the table next to us. The staff doesn't even have a slight overview of who has been served yet and who hasn't. While we were waiting for the fourth... 更多
I had read about this restaurant in a travel magazine that I get and had it on my list as a place to go for dinner. I didn't bring the article with me but did have the address. I knew it was in a warehouse, but what does a warehouse look like from a busy sidewalk. We found the street... 更多
Stopped by here for a quick meal as we were in the city center and was left positively surprised. My fiance had a cheese and ham toastie (Croque Monsieur) and i had the lasagna. They were very tasty! We had a portion of chips on the side and i must say that they could be the best I've had in... 更多
A nice spot hidden away from the busy streets of HCMC. Good selection of western style food. Polite staff and great setting with a shop attached (probably a bit hip in it's contents) Great breakfast place with a low noise level - nice when you're used to high volume places in Australia where conversations are mostly conducted shouting:) and when... 更多
Good ambience. Good food. Everything is great except one little thing. I bought a one piece dress at VND3.29m. The girl didn't mention to us that we can become VIP of the shop for purchase over VND5m. We went there on the following day for a wind breaker (@VND1.89m each) which we saw it the night b4 and would like... 更多
I've been to L'Usine on two separate trips to HCMC and every time I love it and go for lunch multiple times. The first thing to note is there are 2 locations. Dong Khoi and Le Loi. I've been to both and prefer the Dong Khoi location. I personally enjoy L'Usine as a breakfast/brunch/lunchtime spot rather than dinner. They do... 更多
