They have great German food and a very good brunch. We have eaten there many times and it is always good.
The restaurant at Rainbow Village is located in one of the most unlikely places (in the middle of a neighborhood of dirt roads outside of the city) but the surprises don't stop there. The chef/owner is a German woman who is multilingual and her cooking, hospitality and table service are all enjoyable. Though I've never been to Germany, I can... 更多
A little hotel close to the La Ceiba airport that provides one with excellent service, good food and comfortable accommodations. Barbara, your owner/hostess, will pick you up and drop you back off at the airport. Individual cottages are charming with a European flare. A small pool is available for relaxing. Wonderful German food is served and a great choice of... 更多
Barbara was a very nice host and picked us up at our hotel for dinner. She also arranged a ride back after our meal. I'm not a huge fan of this type of cooking as its quite heavy for my stomach. I had type of meat stew.
Barbara is an amazing woman who takes care of her guests like they were old friends who are visiting in her home. And they are. She lives on site and makes sure that every one of her guests has everything they could possibly need. Her rooms are spotless and very well kept with all the amenities you could need. A/C... 更多
This is a wonderful restaurant. All the food is homemade by the chef who is a wonderful lady. There is a great variety to choose from..German...American...and much more. The prices are very fair and the people are very accommodating. One of the best deals in La Ceiba.
We have been meaning to go to Rainbow Village for ages, but it is out near the airport, so we never made the trek out there. We went for Thanksgiving lunch and it was incredible. The pumpkin soup, served in a pumpkin was just marvelous, and the portions were ginormous (is that a word)? The pumpkin pie for dessert was... 更多
Delicious German food - of all things! Who knew you could get great (really great) bratwurst in Honduras? Just off the highway on the outskirts of town (Tela side) opposite the airport. Turn at the Pollo Norteno factory, then right at the second street. Ring the bell next to the gate. (PS: Not a bad place to stay the night... 更多
We needed a space to have a small workshop with directors and staff of children's homes in the area. A friend suggested Rainbow Village. I am very glad they did. Barbara immediately said they would be glad to host us.... AND, because we were planning to have lunch as a group after the 1/2 day workshop, that we were welcome... 更多
