Enjoyable setting and great beer specials. Can be windy, but worth the walk! The onion rings are amazing!

This restaurant is out on a pier in Anna Maria. Food was good but priced a little on the high side. The Caesar salad was huge and delicious. The clam chowder was excellent (New England style). Twenty-five Shrimp platter came with fries which my buddy got looked great. Beer and wine is offered.
We were drawn to the view and uniqueness of this restaurant at the end of the pier. We each a cup of soup, lobster bisque and clam chowder both good. We ordered the calamari and it was a ridiculous amount for two people and only so so (frozen rings). After that we lost our appetite to order anything else. The... 更多
The length of the pier might be too long for people with challenges walking. Smaller place with windows overlooking the water. There were people fishing on the pier and others sitting at the outdoor bar. Casual place with good food. Had the 20 piece shrimp special and the food was very good. Would go back.
We went to dinner while visiting family. They insist on taking us restaurants with great views and it doesn't get much better than the City Pier, which as the name implies, is at the end of the boardwalk. We arrived early and were able to take advantage of some very reasonably priced early bird specials. I had the coconut shrimp... 更多
People will say, "Don't miss the City Pier Restaurant." "Old Florida." Do not believe them. I found it almost scandalous that a restaurant on an island in the Gulf of Mexico served frozen fish! Before I knew about the frozen fish, we decided to give the restaurant a try because we could walk to it. Mistake! It was way overpriced... 更多
Met some folks in town who recommended this restaurant at the end of the long City Pier. Early Bird is 3-6 with limited selections but very reasonable prices. House-made gumbo was great. Fish and chips ($8.95) were very good, and the pollack lightly breaded. Service was good and friendly. We were there on a very windy day, and could feel... 更多
We were very excited to try the City Pier for the first time and we had a wonderful time! It was a bit windy so we ate inside but the atmosphere was wonderful! Giant windows facing the water on 3 sides and little white lights at the top of all the windows made for a cozy, fun time. Husband had... 更多
We love the City Pier, for beer and a great view. This was the first time we had lunch there. We ate outside on the enclosed deck. This is a very casual, and favored place by locals and tourist alike. I had a salad with blackened shrimp added. While it was very good, there was too much grease left on... 更多
Went to this restaurant because a friend's mother had always wanted to go there - but never did (now she has passed). So, we thought we'd try it (in her honor). Parking was a bit of a challenge, and, at first, you see ALL these people walking on this pier and think - WOW, this place is too busy. BUT,... 更多
