Gold's has the best ribs in the state. For sides we always get two orders of collards, they're that good. It's only open Thursday-Saturday, so get there when you can. If you're traveling I-65, it's well worth the short trip into Atmore to pick up a slab of ribs to carry on your trip.
I tried Golds for the first time in years. The food was good but a little greasy. There are not many bbq options in Atmore but over all I can only give an average rating. Bbq had good flavor and our sides of fries and greens and baked beans were very good.
