It's an especially good deal if you pick up a Groupon (50% off currently available). Had the Chicken Masala, rice, and nann.
We tried this restaurant since it was an walking distance from the hotel where we stayed on capitol hill but that was a mistake. The food was between poor and average. We tried the butter naan, Malai kofta and Paneer Mutter. Kofta curry was extremely sour and paneer mutter was average.Even the naan breads were far from average.
We arrived around 2 pm on a Monday. I didnt realize until after we arrived and were seated that they closed at 2:30 and then reopened at 5 pm (I never saw this before, so this was my mistake). Because of this late arrival, I felt badly placing an order but they said we could come in and eat. I... 更多
Absolutely terrible place. We went there as a group of five. Ordered samosas and mango lassis as starters. The samosas arrived which clearly looked re-fried. After that we wanted to start with two entrées and naans and order more later. The waitress, who had no smile on her face, showed us the menu card where it was written in the... 更多
Ordered in so I can't speak about the property. Phone ordering was easy, food came in a prompt timeframe and was delicious. Orders over $20 had no delivery fee. Would have liked the driver to come into the lobby though (esp. since it was raining)--i had to go out and look for his car. Also wish the chicken makhani had... 更多
DC has a ton of options for Indian food. So, if you want something fancy, there is a place for you - but this is not it. Located in an area that is replete with international dining options, Aastish is a good place for a quick lunch alone or with friends. The buffet options are somewhat limited. In addition to... 更多
If you are in D and arecraving Indian food, take the dollars and throw it in the Potomac or give it to some needy person. Trust me, it is a better thing to do than order from this place. The only good thing about this place was that they delivered. The food sucked, I have eaten a lot of bad... 更多
We have been dining at Aatish practically since it opened its door 20 years ago---it was great then and continues to be our go-to place for Indian/Pakistani home cooking. Sure, there are fancier, more upscale places. But if it's tandoori, curries, rogan josh or any of the fine vegetarian options you want---all are wonderfully prepared. The staff is all part... 更多
One of my favorite regular spots. My son and I have enjoyed this small nearly cafe-sized Indian place for several years now. The bright pink walls and various velvet Indian-themed images along the wall seem to make this place less of an eat-in, but the wait staff is adequate to good. Due to its size, a group of more than... 更多
I was visiting DC with my parents and we looked up this restaurant since it was close to the Union Station and open for lunch. We went there on a Saturday@1 PM. The restaurant was empty. The service was good. The appetizers were decent although the booti kabab was literally more like a chew toy. The Chicken Biriyani was more... 更多
