We went here Thursday before New year's.....although we thought the value was pretty good, unfortunately the food was cold and it was a bit picked over. However next time we go up there we may try it again.
Lots of varied and quick buffet line. You pay by pound. 4 adults with drinks total was around $40. The only problem I had was food was not hot. I had French toast and it was cold. The others had pancakes and the biscuit & gravy which were all on the cool side. Other than that good place for quick... 更多
We were staying at the Jefferson just one block from the Cornerstone and looking for breakfasts that were quick, easy and cheap. This fit the bill perfectly. We ate here all three mornings of our stay. The food is served buffet-style so we could choose from a wide variety of offerings - eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, bagels, french toast, pancakes... 更多
The restaurant located across the street where Westin and Lowes Madison sat. Open from morning to afternoon, only served breakfast and lunch, in buffet type. Foods would be re-arranged/re-set after 1030AM from Breakfast to Luncheon menu, which would formally begin around 11AM. Cost of foods measured in weight: 5.99/lb. for breakfast and 7.49/lb. for lunch. Additional for coffee. Many people... 更多
It's close to our hotel so we stopped by for breakfast. The place is fine, clean, good for groups of people and fussy eaters. Food is good, basic (hot/cold breakfast foods. But to be honest with you, our eggs and French Toast was clearly cooked, but now cold. So, I suggest that you make sure that the food has steam... 更多
Had to grab a quick breakfast for the family before a long day touring DC. The Cornerstone has two large buffets with a very large and delicious selection of items for a quick breakfast. Many of these are pricey since they charge by the pound, but a large breakfast for 5 cost around $30 including drinks for all.
Came expecting a breakfast diner with individually priced breakfast offerings as their internet page indicates. Wrong. Its buffet only charged by the pound. The food was mostly good (not great) but was disappointed that my expectations were not met. Suggested to management that they do a major update of their webpage, and very soon.
My daughter was moving in to the Cornerstone apartments so after moving her in, we decided to grab lunch downstairs. The outdoor seating is comfortable and inviting. The menu features big sandwiches and salads. I had the grilled pear salad which I really enjoyed.
