Cuban coffee, frozen mocha and triple espresso were great! Great energy and excellent service! Can't wait to go back!
Tryst is one of those places whose immediate appeal is its "homeliness": you are literally drawn in as you walk past. Food is very good too, as far as comfort cuisine (as in all home made) goes, with a special mention for an impressive selection of coffee drinks. To top it all off they serve alcoholic beverages too. We had heard about Tryst from a friend who had worked there and were curious to find out what the dining experience was all about. We turned up for brunch on a Saturday morning and the tables were full. Seating is on a first come first served basis with no reserved or assigned tables. You find your own and sit... 更多
About half-way through our afternoon at the Phillips Gallery, we stopped in at the gallery's Cafe, the Tryst Coffee House and Bar, to get a quick drink. We went here for breakfast at 9am on a weekday- it was pretty quiet and slow. Our coffee was fantastic and the food was good. I'd come back here every day for breakfast if this wasn't out last day traveling in DC.
We got here in mid-afternoon and had great coffee and lunch. I had The Linda sandwich which was utterly delicious and my wife had the mushroom quiche which was the most flavorful quiche I have ever tasted, period. Service was super attentive and this place is always jumping. If you're in the Adams Morgan district don't miss getting coffee or... 更多
We visited on the Labor Day holiday. The place was comfortable but hopping with a lot of energy among the patrons and the staff. Despite the crowd, the service was very quick and very friendly. On this visit we only had coffee which was great but on my last visit I had the Nina wrap which was very good. The... 更多
Each generation continues to "discover" Tryst. A perfect AdMo (Adams Morgan) coffee hang out with food added. Superb expresso drinks and more. Sofas spread out for comfort along with tables, always packed on weekends. But as Philz opened, a bit less packed. Service here is always wonderfully pleasant if not chronically slow. Long waits for drinks/food and the check, but... 更多
