This place is very beautiful, almost is looking like museum...food I just ok I aspect little bit more...
This is an honest Hungarian restaurant who definitely keeps it down to earth and is not at all a tourist trap like most on the Szentendre square. Located up one of the side streets from the main centre square (it's on google maps). For 2 people, 2 forralt bors, beef stew and stuffed cabbage came to under 8000HUF including tip.... 更多
When entering the restaurant there are so many traditional decorations, it's very stunning, the food is basic and the staff is at times unfriendly
A bunch of us from our tour group stopped here for lunch while visiting the Village of Szentendre. The restaurant is unique as it is filled with very interesting things hanging from the ceiling and everywhere you could imagine. Service was very good, the host was friendly and kind. We had all ordered the Hungarian goulash as we were told... 更多
enjoyed a lovely chicken soup with saffron (not enough saffron in this world ;-) and a Hungarian chicken Lecsos with rice. Also very good. As well as some lovely local wine. we also found only a few diners there for the late mid-week lunch... cute town and charming little restaurant!
We had dinner there, and we were the only guests on a sunday evening. I cannot imagine why no more people come here. We had a good meal, the place was well, and interestingly decorated, and clean. The service was a bit strange. Although they weren't rude, they weren't too nice either. However, I would recomend this place.
Eight of us had lunch here recommended by our tour guide. This restaurant was filled with many interesting antiques and Hungarian artifacts. Hungarian food was featured and we found the food terrific. All the main dishes were very good. Service was great and prices were attractive. Lunch with drinks came to $25 per couple.
It is a lovely venue with a fantastic decor but that is about it. The menu stucked in the 1980's and it is overpriced. The service was average too. It is a shame.. Could do much better with this great venue , location and history.
