After reading reviews here about the bad service in this restaurant, we decided that we wanted to try this restaurant. We arrived just slightly after lunch time, and the restaurant was very busy. Everybody spoke Czech, so we assumed that we were the only foreigners there. It was a little bit intimidating at first. The waiters are not the typical... 更多
We had a delicious meal here - the roast duck was incredible - probably the best I've ever had. The service was great, the food was great, and the prices were very reasonable.
This restaurant seems to be much recommended as a local food restaurant and it does sell decent local food which is well prepared and tasty - goose with red cabbage and potatoes etc. The salted roasted almonds were really, really good. The service was a bit slow but not too bad. 3 Stars means average and Vkolkovne is a very good... 更多
It was convenient to find traditional Czech food restaurant right after finishing the Jewish quarter tour. Great "sviskova" dish and great beer here. Reasonable prices and polite staff.
We have come across this place during lunchtime and decided to give it a try. The restaurant was full, but we managed to find a little table next to the entrance in the smoking area (there is also a non-smoking area which is located on the underground floor). We were served quite quickly but the staff seemed tired and was... 更多
The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. I do recommend you book a table if you go in the evening. We tried twice, but it was fully booked. We finally managed to get a table at lunch time.
We tried to have dinner here in the evening but could not get a table so we decided to come for lunch instead. The interior is very nice and the waiter was friendly. The portions were quite big and well priced. The food itself was good but not excellent; I had pork pieces with dumpling and sauerkraut which I would... 更多
Watch out, if you ask for a large beer (imagining a 0.5l glass) you will be amazed at the fully one litre glasses they serve their beer in! Great dark beer, and good food. I have no idea how authentic the Czech specialities were, but frankly, I didn't care. massive portions of well cooked food, and not obviously expensive.
After our first hour in Prague, starving & wanting to try real Czech food, our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant. So we trotted over from the Residence Agnes. What a fun experience! Here it was between 3-4pm & we're thinking it would be empty but it was full of people enjoying massive heaps of food with huge beers & wine.... 更多
Great place to eat. Lots of Czech food. If you are unsure about an item on the menu ask to taste the sauce. The Goulash was great. Service a little slow but ok. I would eat there again.
You find this traditional beer-cellar (converted to restaurant) just opposite the Spanish synagogue. Whether you want to taste the Czech beer (I did it for lunch) or wish to have a typical Czech dinner -(we did it in the same evening) -we found it to make a good decision. The waiters are as nice, as a Czech waiter can be.... 更多
Terrible service. Rude staff. Rudeness at every step. Previously visited the place many times. and have never had anything like it. It was my last visit to this place.
