Simply amazing. I tried 4 different dishes at the English Rose. You can't go wrong. The plates are big so come with an appetite. Eggs Benedict was my favorite dish but the Full Monty was also delish. The road is not as bad as everyone makes it sound. We had a cheap rental car and it did just fine making... 更多
Pros- Food quality Service The view! Cons- Pineapple hill You have to go up Pineapple hill in order to get there. But once you do, believe me, it's worth it. The view is something else. We went for Mother's Day Brunch and ordered the Turkey Hash & Sweet Potato, Salmon Benedict something and the Dead Elvis. This one is basically... 更多
This B & B was recommended by friends back home. And, I will say the ride up the hill to this place was exciting and scary at the same time. If you can get pass the drive up you will truly appreciate the scenery and the delicious food. The service was beyond excellent. The view of Ricon is breathtaking and... 更多
The road there is not for the meek, but when you get there you will be greeted by the smell of home baked bread. Inside you will see a great view of Rincon and enjoy a wonderful breakfast.
The food, the view and the attention. Nothing compares. English Rose is located inside the Ensenada neighborhood overlooking Tres Palmas Marine Reserve. Before going to The English Rose call and reserve. (must)
It's a very lovely place with bunch of lovely waitresses in there, scenery ocean view from far, winding road adventurous driving worrying about oncoming opposite vehicle(narrow road only fits 1.5 car).delicious breakfast, very filling full monty plate.theres some local made souvenirs for sale too you dont find them many anywhere else.
We ate here twice during our stay in the Rincon area. They have a good breakfast selection. This is a lovely spot with views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The staff are wonderful.
We had booked a VRBO home in Rincon and at the last minute, the owner informed us that he had made a mistake and double booked his home for our first 3 nights. A mistake for sure but he took the liberty of setting up arrangements for us at The English Rose. With some trepidation, we agreed. We could not... 更多
Be sure to make reservations and get directions as this is located way up a narrow windy road. It is well worth the trip. If visiting the area, breakfast at The English Rose is a must!
Best breakfast in PR, had the 'Full Monty' - still full. Don't expect to dawdle though. If people are waitng for tables, as they were when we finished up, expect your plate to be swiped from underneath your toast as you munch. Had to use a diner napkin as a plate for a minute or two, but the whole experience... 更多
The ride to and from the English Rose is an adventure. Parking at the restaurant, another experience. The view is amazing. Breakfast foods are very North American. Nothing to complain about but the service from our waitress was rather sullen. It's not cheap and they add 18% service to the bill regardless. For that sized tip you could expect friendliness.... 更多
Everything about "The English Rose" is amazing. The food, the service, and the view are all well worth the somewhat terrifying drive up Pineapple Hill. We arrived late enough to avoid the need for a reservation, but reservations are highly recommended, especially if you want to sit on the outdoor patio. Fresh squeezed orange juice, local coffee, fresh fruit bowl,... 更多
