Service fairly prompt for busy night, grill was good, only two prawns for surf & turf, didn't get the Scallops and figured they would be made up with an extra prawn or two. Will be back, not bad and is air conditioned
The seafood stone grill meal was good, plenty of seafood on a hot stone. On the other hand the lightly battered fish was like a solid rock of batter with a sliver of fish. One good meal one awful meal, however the chips in both cases were great.
We had a bit of trouble finding lunch today and ended up here. I had the roast lamb (as a special) and it was without doubt the best meal I have ever eaten anywhere. The pub was welcoming and comfortable and the staff so friendly and attentive. This is where we will always eat when in Corowa.
We visited this hotel on a Sunday and chose the seniors two course meals of roast pork and vegetables and a bacon and mushroom frittata as well as desserts of fruit and ice-cream and pikelets. The staff were polite and friendly. All the food was very good and great value at $12.00 each. I have always returned to this hotel... 更多
I don't usually try this type of dining, but I was pleasantly surprised. The seafood was fresh and tasty. My partner had steak, which he enjoyed and our friends tried the Swiss chicken. We visited this hotel twice in our few days at Corowa
We stumbled across this little gem on our first night in town. Despite some seriously outdated interior in the restaurant section in need of a revamp we were impressed with the eye fillet stone grill. The locals were friendly, the staff were helpful and even speaking to the locals they all agreed it was #1 place in town to eat.
The food is terrible. Microwaved packet lamb shanks. Frozen basa fillets from vietnam. All the food comes in a packet. Stonegrill is fine though the meat does sit around in the cool room for a few weeks or is frozen and defrosted and frozen and defrosted. Butif you wanna pay 30$ to cook your own steak...this place is for you.
