Sauces are quite nice unfortunetly weve found bones or cardamon pods in our chicken dishes more than once - i think better quality control needed.
after a tiring day at hunter valley, we were looking for good Indian food and found it here at Indian@Hunter restaurant. the service was extremely good and the food was very tasty. highly recommended. this was our second visit in 6 months. will definitely come again!! the owners are really sweet and friendly to talk to.
Dropped in alone. Busy with large groups. Got the Chicken Tikka Masala, rice, nan bread, and a Mango Lassi. All tasty stuff served without much delay. Good food at a reasonable price. Will come again!
The experience at this restaurant is not one I would recommend. Every dish we ordered had an excessive amount of sugar in it to the point we found it inedible. When we asked the waitress why the response was that was how the locals like it. One of our group commented maybe the cook has shares in CSR.
Yeah the place is OK... Food was good. Service from the "new" girl was fine. Beer prices were good. Didn't go away from the place thinking we must go back again yet we're not thinking never again either. Overall it's just fine... What you see is what you get... No more no less.
This restuarant was a complete surprise. The looks of this restaurant can be deceiving and you might not want to eat in but the food is was delicious. If you feel like Indian in Hunter then try this one, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
We eat here regularly and have never been disappointed. Lots of choices. Able to cope with larger groups. Always a smile on the owners face. A favourite.
The only bad thing I will mention about this restaurant is the decor. It looks like someone has just randomly hung up posters they stole from a 1980's travel agent. Forgiving that, the food is amazing and delicious and the servers are delightful. The naan was particularly nice. Very light and complemented a spicy curry very well.
