Had a melody of skewers at Ken Yakitori. The Grilled Mussels and Salmon Capriccio was really nice but the soft shell crabs lacked enough sauce to make it stand out. I don't really enjoy eating alone when on business trips, but in here I just felt like I was a part of everything that was going on inside. The food, which was being cooked directly in front of me, at the counter, was delicious! washed down with a Japanese, Kirin Beer & I was totally satisfied. Will be back!!
We shared some good food, but was spoilt by below average service. The maitre'd was not impressed when we hadn't finished our meals when the next group for the table arrived.
I have a confession. I love yakitori- so its incredibly hard for a yakitori bar to get a bad review from me unless they really screw up. The thing keeping me from giving Ken a five-star was the level of yakitori just wasn't what I hoped it to be. Their cornflake encrusted chicken was superb, however and I recommend it... 更多
