My husband, son and daughter surprised me with dinner here for my birthday. Sadly this place is so very over rated. Being served a small single half boiled potato on a plate and calling it "rare" potato is an insult to our intelligence. The rest is not worthy of a mention apart from being taken out the back and shown... 更多
Obviously a dinner with great expectations. The performance was well rehearsed and lived up to the reputation Unfortunately in my view the food was not quite at that level. The potato main really needs to go , despite the long history. Orange juice is nicer without the skin in my view at least.
A thoroughly memorable gastronomical experience. The decor, atmosphere, service, menu, wine list, presentation and food quality was 2nd to none. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt like we were on an amazing journey that we did not want to end. One of the many highlights was being taken outside to stretch our legs and... 更多
From the moment we walked in the door the sensory began - pleasant greeting from the staff, the décor and lighting created an atmosphere of excitement and expectation of something different. The lighting is very clever - with dark coloured wall there is a feeling of entering a cave almost and there in the semi-darkness each table is individually spotlit.... 更多
To me once of The best restaurants in Australia by far! The cheff is always taking care of the clients so food and service are exceptional. They use local products and explain why they use them in the menu so you can understand their statement.
There is no question that eating at Attica is a unique experience - the food is radically different to anything I've come across elsewhere, and creative in the extreme. That's not to say the food is all good though. Some dishes were excellent, but others not so much. The "medium rare potato" was simply bizarre - I don't understand how... 更多
Why oh why is this place ranked in the top 50 restaurants in the world? Just recently booked for the degustation which was 8 courses plus 6 appetisers. This was served over a 3 hour seating. There was only one dish that I enjoyed which was the snow crab. The rest of the dishes which included the medium rare potato... 更多
Only go if you have over 4 hours. I regularly eat at michelin starred restaurants with tasting menu only- this meal was much more painfully slow compared to any other restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food was playful, creative and exotic (kangaroo, wallaby and emu). But the service left a lot to be desired.
After reading numerous reviews and making a booking 3 months in advance, we had a degree of expectation on the quality of meal and the whole dining experience for Attica, surpasses my expectation and it was seriously on of the best meals I have had in the world ( and I have been to a fair few including the Ledbury,... 更多
We were a party of five who dined at Attica on a busy Saturday night. The food was simply divine (of course) but importantly, for such a prestige restaurant, the service was so friendly, down to earth and cheerful - we felt like we were regulars :-) Highly recommend the matching wine service; some truly delightful wines (and one less-than-delicious... 更多
A consistently regular high-class restaurant generally for special occasions. The degustation menu provides an opportunity to taste many different flavours but don't be fooled the dishes might look small, but they creep up on you. Service is very professional and the space is elegant noise level is ideal.
Attica is an unusual dining experience. Due to their global popularity getting a booking is an effort which may lead to heightened expectations. Once you arrive you'll notice the dining rooms are rather small requiring you to speak quietly to avoid eavesdropping, additionally the black walls without much in the way of artwork etc devoid the room of atmosphere, leaving... 更多
