I got dinner from here tonight and the price was alright but the chips were cold and the potato inside the potato was undercook. The Spanish mackerel was the saving grace, delicious! But 1 out of 3 means a 2 rating in my eyes.
Whenever we pass through Alice Springs, we make sure to call in to Eastside Fish and Chips. Friendly staff, great value for money and the food is always perfect. Hot chips, crunchy and fresh. Moist tasty fish cooked to perfection. Never had anything but perfection from this place. Such a pleasure to come to you. Thanks you!
Clean tasting meal, nice batter on fish. Portions expensive but it is in the middle of Australia. Overall a good takeaway meal.
Last night in Alice Springs and I thought let's grab fish and chips. And OMG this is one of the best fish and chips I have ever had and also the best calamaris...not the cheapest calamaris, but it's all worth it cos it's fresh not frozen, that's what the friendly lady owner said. If you are hankering for good takeaway fish n chips this is the place. I go for the crumbed fish fillet and no chips as a half a scoop is too much for me. It's pricey, but worth it as there isn't really anywhere else other than Red Rooster for fish n chips.
Best fish and chips in Australia. Had fish and chips in lots of Different places whilst travelling and always come home to Alice and get the best in the middle of the desert. Go figure.
Having travelled to Alice Springs and arriving on a Sunday when not much was open, we decided to have a fish and chip supper in our hotel room. Very good! Would have liked some mushy peas......
expensive, greasy and bad oil taste. This is not your typical fish n chip shop. Overpriced greasy food. Why did I bother? i thought they had an off day the first two times. Third time i made my decision. Dont bother. stay home and make your own. cheaper..2xfish, scoop chips and 2 oysters. $30. ridiculous.
