We have been many times to Hannibals but never again, we had a 6 course banquet, the falafel tasted like it was out of a packet and no tabouli was served. The ladies fingers were not edible, we went home hungry, disgusting
We got the banquet and it was so stingy, we had to fill up on bread and order more dishes (never left hungry from a banquet normally!!) Food took sooo long and was not that great and expensive. The service was really poor. Can't believe this place has a 4 star rating. Go elsewhere for yummy Lebanese food.
Held our hens night at Hannibal, small old house changed into a restaurant. Food served on our buffet were nothing different to a take away food except more expensive and on a plate. The staff doesn't have product knowledge and don't understand customers well. Tho they are nice and attentive they lack the communication skills to provide what the customers... 更多
Whilst I love modern, contemporary eateries, I'm still a lover of 'old school', traditional, hole in wall restaurants that haven't updated their decor since the 80's! - provided the food & service is great. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was served quite quickly, but our waiter forgot all of our drinks. The hummus was runny and oily... 更多
Went there last night for tea and didn't enjoy it too much. It might be that I just don't like the taste of lebanese cuisine (I just had it for the first time in my life) but minced meat didn't smell right to me, chicken was tasteful though. Portions are quite big, bread is good, vegetables seemed ok except tomato... 更多
My family and I dined at Hannibals in Glebe for my son's 21st birthday. We had a choice of two rooms - one with tables and chairs or one with low tables and thick embroidered cushions to sit on. We chose the cushion room. We picked the $40 banquet. Plenty of food and delicious. As it was a Friday night,... 更多
Sadly it was a disappointing visit. Restaurants nearby have way better value for money. It's a shame this place has ambiguity in its menu: specifically in Banquet menu. The issue was that 2 of their staff didn't even understand it themselves and therefore couldn't help a group of 4 out. The belly dancing show feels like it lasts 5 minutes.
We were in the front of the restaurant. The bench seats were so low that the table was nearly shoulder height - and I am a tall person! Overall the food was good, although the Lebanese bread that was brought to accompany the dips had come straight out of the store-bought packet - not heated - as other restaurants do.... 更多
I recently went to Hannibals for a staff Xmas party which was held in the cushion room. We paid $40/head for which we got a more than acceptable amount of food. Unfortunately it was a bit hit and miss in quality, some things like the dips and the koftas were lovely but others like the cabbage rolls were almost inedible... 更多
