We booked a table as the bar seemed quite busy. I had crab tagiateli with a sauce that obscured the delicate nature of the crab but the Grand Marnier and chocolate brûlée was superb. Service was very swift with good and friendly waitresses and I enjoyed the Guinness.

No frills, good food. The fish trio were fried simply but tasted fresh and delicious. The steak and ale pie was again simply made but tasted very good with tender beef.
