This is arguably one of the best restaurants in Rhodes. All the dishes are prepared in an authentic, yet very original manner that teanscends all conventional tastes.
We had lunch at this lovely restaurant in the main square of Lindos. The food we ordered from the menu was traditional greek with influences from the East. It tasted great and we had a very enjoyable meal with friendly service. A memorable experience.
The restaurant is right in the entrance to Lindos. Actually, you feel like you're sitting in the parking lot. However, in spite of the outer noise and smoke, the interior atmosphere is nice and authentic. The restaurant behaves like a fancy chef institute in terms of service and selection. We ordered several dishes. The Vine Leaves where surprising and excellent.... 更多
This restaurant is in the centre of Lindos close to the taxi rank and donkey station and close to the public toilets so for me that had been a little bit of an issue as I was both concerned about possible noise and smell but I was really surprised ,there was absolutely no problems with smells or hygiene issues associated... 更多
Hands down this restaurant serves the best food on the whole island. Dishes both traditional and different are served in a pretty arched restaurant on the square with views to the sea. It's been in the same family for a long time and is justifiably famous. Even if you are not staying in Lindos a visit to Mavrikos is well... 更多
It looked a little simple when we first stepped in, but when we got seated we noticed the nice atmosphere with beatiful suroundings. It is growing leafs all over the ceiling and theres a big tree in one of the rooms. Its ceramic pots with fruit and beautiful plates on the wall. The service was pleasant and the wine, beer... 更多
We ate here on Sunday 2nd Oct and was disappointed in the service and food, based on our experience we would not visit again, as the traditional Greek hospitably we all know and love, was missing on our visit. The food wasn’t that great in fact we were in and out of restaurant in under 45 minutes. and didn’t stay... 更多
Not inexpensive but some really interesting Greek dishes: we particularly liked the cuttlefish (soupia) in sweet wine and a goat and chickpea stew. We also had a terrific kleftiko. The wine list has some nice bottles too. Overall value is outstanding but don't come to this standout restaurant for burgers and beer.
