Awful. Rubbish. What more can I say. I was looking round for the hidden camera at one point thinking this must be a wind up. Service blunt and unfriendly not to mention slow. This is a place worth visiting - tasty and hearty portions. We loved their papadams, spinach & ginger soup, sizzling tandoori chickens, house speciality chicken and chicken masala. Great garlic nan breads and Kungfisher beer... The place was pretty full with native costumers which I always think is a good sign. Affordable prices.
We have eaten in many Indian restaurants in various countries and we have to say the quality of food here was outstanding . The meat was tender , the sauces were excellent with the right amount of spice , the service was attentive and we think you would be hard pushed to find a better Indian restaurant in Malta.
We had a lovely meal at Shiva's. The restaurant is clean and comfortable (quite near the entrance to the Westin). We had Chicken Saag and Chicken Masala Special which were both really lovely. Rice was enough for two!
On our week trip to St Julian's we went to quite a few restaurants nearby and decided one evening to go to Shivas Indian restaurant in Dragonara Road. My husband had Chicken Tikka Masala and I had vegetable biryani, we didn't order starters or loads of side plates and I wonder if this is why we didn't get very good... 更多
