Stopped in with friends when passing through. Was pleasantly surprised by a lovely meal. The staff were absolutely great. Would recommend.
Starters excellent but main courses came first taken away kept warm for half an hour and re served, the worst meal I have ever been served embarressed to be Irish with a group of English friends, unfortunately this terrible standard all too common on this trip
We stopped for dinner en route from Galway to Westport with 2 kids who were looking for fish n chips...it serves them but it was not a culinary highlight. Planned lunch stop for tour group. Plates of sandwiches (content unknown) and cups of soup helped us warm up and revive our spirits. But first we had to figure out where to sit (the locals like to hang their wet jackets from the backs of empty chairs) and whether the Boil Water alert should be a warning (it was fine!).
