We had been touring all day, but had dinner planned when we got back to Waterford. Both of us had the seafood chowder, which was excellent, served with brown bread. My wife had a glass of wine, I had a pint. Our waitress was quite friendly, the premises clean. Great place if you're in the area.
Nice pub / restaurant which is kept very well. Very clean inside, friendly staff, good variety on the menu and also specials for the day. My order was taken quickly and the food delivered quickly, good presentation and piping hot. Will certainly visit again next time I am going through Cashel.
We received a 10% off coupon at the tour information place in Cashel so went for lunch at Fahy's Bar. Our bar tender/waiter was friendly and outgoing (T.J.). We enjoyed our lunch in this pub and I so enjoyed a local draft beer (White Gypsy Ruby Irish Red Ale) that I looked for this beer in other places. The location... 更多
This is a good place to go after a long day exploring the town. The portions are huge and I recommend the bacon and cabbage. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere felt very laid back.
As noted in my Rock of Cashel review, entrance to the historic site is free if you spend €15 or more in the town of Cashel. My wife and I were a bit hungry and decided to stop at Fahy's for a quick bite. She got chips with cheese and garlic sauce (she has celiac and the choices were a... 更多
We loved this Pub because it was filled with locals, it was affordable, and the food was good. I had the potato leek soup and it was amazing!
Everything is top notch about this restaurant! Great service, food, and atmosphere. We wanted a casual place to get some dinner and were very happy with Fahy's!
We had dinner at Fahy's and I was not prepared for the large quantity of food - nor the quality. It is a small place, that prop ably can only seat 40 people for dinner. We ordered the 6 oz., steak with sides, appetizer and desert for 18Euor's. What came out was at least 10oz steak (I cut beef in... 更多
We dropped in for a light lunch, after visiting the castle. The food was fresh, tasty and prepared with great care. We liked it so much that we came back later for dinner.
We came to visit Cashel because we researched our family geneology and discovered my great great grandparents were married at the church down the street from Fahy's. We came in with a large group, and they were immediately accomodating. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was amazing. The staff members Paraic were very kind, despite our loud... 更多
While out for a walk we stopped in for our lunch, we both had the roast beef which was both tender and delicious. Also enjoyed a pint of ale as well. Staff were very friendly. The food was served within minutes of us giving our order and well priced as well. We will be back.
We sat down to eat here for our first meal in Ireland. Although we were very tired from traveling for 24 hours, we enjoyed the restaurant very much. We had quick and attentive service. My husband had the bangers and mash which we all thought was delicious. My son and I had fish and chips ( fries). The fish was... 更多
Stopped in on St. Patrick's day just after the parade started. I had the Irish Stew and my wife the Bacon and Cabbage. The portions are large and the food was excellent. The price makes it all the better. We certainly enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality.
