We were looking forward to a mid walk hot chocolate however we were very disappointed to discover the Bridge was closed. Check opening times carefully.
My sister and I visited this pub for lunch yesterday. Neither of us had been in since the recent re-development. Prior to this, it was a traditional pub, much visited and valued by my family and our dogs. We liked it - a lot. However, I like the transformed Bridge Inn so much more. It is worth a visit just... 更多
The atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the decor and the staff are superb. Being vegan I was cared for and treated the same as any other guest and had no problems enjoying fresh produce full of flavour. Its lovely to meet management that are passionate about what they produce and are not scared to deliver something different to the norm.
Just enjoyed a wonderful meal here. Went on spec as a birthday treat, wasn't really what we were expecting but we were very pleasantly surprised! The food was fantastic, wonderful flavours and plenty to share between the two of us. If you are prepared to try something different you shouldn't be disappointed. We were made very welcome and the staff... 更多

Have now been 3 times and this time we took our hubbies ..... they loved it! Tapas style is our preferred way of eating lunch time and this just fits the bill. Great that the public bar is food free so you can sit by a roaring fire to have a pre meal drink without the smell of chips!! Great... 更多
Been to old bridge inn many times & had lovely food at good prices but the new bridge inn is our first & last time if you're hungry don't go. You get little bits of food & very over priced £27 for 5 dishes not a lot of food. I called at chippy on the home
It was a pleasant surprise when we turned up hungry after our chatsworth house visit & The Bridge Inn, Calver served v good quality tasty tapas. We enjoyed a great meal with a good choice of dishes. Very helpful friendly staff. Good atmosphere, great quality range of dishes. Highly recommend.
I remember this pub/restaurant as being a really friendly, cozy and busy pub. Well the Greene King makeover has stopped all of that. When we arrived for lunch we were shown to our table and noticed no longer busy and no longer friendly. Staff seemed distracted - more interested in chatting to each other than serving us. It was explained... 更多
