Excellent lunchtime dining experience from food to service. Had the Fois Gras which was fabulous and split a massive T-bone steak which was delicious. The wives enjoyed seafood of Sea Bass and Durado. The Durado was baked and the Bass encased (not just encrusted ) in salt.Both were phenomenal! The fish were deboned table side and the steak also. We ate as a group of 6 and were all very pleased with the meal and service. Pick of the dishes is the home made pasta with eggplant. Worth sitting outside under the vines if available and the owner/manager takes bookings over the phone and is very nice and welcoming, even if you can't speak Italian.
Up in the hills out of town, with a panoramic terrace. Not a vast menu. However, we made the mistake of going with the fish for the main course, which, charged by the etto, turned out to be pretty expensive - but it was very good!. There was a beautiful breeze when we ate here - our table was directly under a cherry tree with a lot of fruit still on it, and the view was terrific. The service was very good and the food was delicious. My sister had a risotto with shrimp that she really enjoyed and the desserts were delicious, too.
The chef and staff were so friendly. We ate there on two nights. The menu was really good , to say it was out of season. Our steaks were cooked to perfection.
