We stumbled across this place looking for brunch. All in all it didn't blow me away.... We ordered canapés, toasties (we got the wrong order due to language barrier), however their pastries were absolutely delicious. I love a good cappuccino but this was distinctly average. You get what you pay for.... It's not expensive and it won't blow you away... 更多
I think it has one of the best location in Stephanplatz. If you come just for a coffee and a sweet cake, you dont have to worry about the price because you have all the view and the air of Vienna.
every time I go to Aida, I am one of the few young people there (if any!) but I don't really care, they have great cakes and good coffee, not that cheap though! tip: try out their brownies!
I went to Aida Cafe next to shottentor and was really disapointed. The cake I ordered (Mozart cake) was old even to look at, and very dry. However, I decided not to complain....until I've noticed the cake was actually mouldy. When I showed it to the bartender, she apologized although she didn't look really sorry and offered to change it... 更多
really bad service, super rude waitress, crowded- feels like you are in a cafeteria where everyone is expecting you to leave as soon as you finish your cake. Cakes are average at best but this is my overall impression on Austrian cakes - too overrated.
I expect extraordinary and I only got very good, so tomorrow I will look in others Cafes, to get the extraordinary that many people talk about Vienna Cafes. What is wonderful is that this and others Cafes close at 10 pm.
We visited Vienna during Christmas, and stopped in for a treat. I enjoyed a torte and Viennese coffee. The ambience is very nice, the quality of the the pastry was fine, the service was okay. We enjoyed looking out on the street and warming up.
