I'd give this restaurant 3.5 stars if I could. It's a nice place, and the food is good (if a bit salty for my tastes) but don't go in expecting fine dining. That was my mistake, so I was a somewhat disappointed. We were seated at the "chef's table," which is the bar facing the station where the chefs work... 更多
This place is very trendy. Of all the courses, it was hit or miss. Some dishes were great. Others were just strange with off flavor combinations. Our family, who had loved the good in Iceland so far, was less than impressed.
Such an incredible experience dining here. Possibly the most gorgeous presentation of any restaurant I've ever been to. Really interesting New Nordic cuisine, faultless service, and a lovely understated atmosphere. Went with our two boys, ages 9 and 14, and the waitstaff was gracious and charming to them as well as my husband and me. Wonderful and worth every penny... 更多
We had one of the best meals of our trip at Dill. The main dining room has 10-12 tables and 4 seats at the chef's station where you can watch every dish in the restaurant be prepared and assembled. The tasting menu is full of surprises and the wine pairing were the perfect compliment to the meal. The only disappointment... 更多
The 7 course Tasting Menu was an amazing culinary pleasure.... each small little morsel was infused with so many layers, and so much flavor... that my wife and I spent almost four hours in bliss... This is a truly unique experience... and made more wonderful as you get to watch the chefs in action.... Well Done!
Chef Gunnar simply stuns you. Amazing beautiful location only matched by the dishes in from of you. Chef beautifully plates his new nordic cuisine with a wonderful wine pairing to match. If you have one night out, eat here!
The cod was really nice as well As the beef cheeks. Those 2 dishes were worth the visit. Wish some of the dishes had more seasoning and less vinegar taste but i am conscious this is a matter of taste and preference.
A lovely room for this opportunity to enjoy the evening's tasting menu. The focus is on modern, somewhat trendy, takes on local foods and customs; wish the wine pairing was a little more risky and less safe. A filling, delicious and relaxing meal with unhurried but attentive service.
Based on 4 visits to Dill, 3 in the old location at Nordic House and once at the new location. Went for the seven course with wine matching menu. Food is always impeccably presented and in smallish but perfect portions which suits me fine. I was at the Chef's table / bar and both the chefs and waitstaff were very... 更多
Cozy environment and attentive staff. We did the 7 course dinner that they offer and each course got better and better. The desserts at the end blew our minds. Every course was a reflection of the local food that can be found on the island, but elevated in a very exciting way. It's a bit pricey, but you're not only... 更多
If you are into tasting menus and eating experiences, this is a must-stop. It might be considered expensive starting at 60 euros each for the three course menu, going up to 80 for the 7-courses, but giving prices in Iceland, and the experience you are going to have, I can say it is well worth it. Also, similar restaurants in... 更多
A great experience from start to finish. We went for the 7 course tasting menu with matching wines which was fantastic. Food quality and presentation was impeccable with super wine and food pairings. The staff were also very attentive and professional. The specially crafted Dill saison beer was another highlight! Highly recommended.
Dill is perfection. The decor, the staff, the drinks, the FOOD. Per. Fec. Tion. Dill is small, cozy, and romantic. The staff is extremely attentive, but give you all the room you need to enjoy your meal. You can do a 3-, 5-, or all 7-course fixed menu. I highly suggest you go for all seven and do the wine... 更多
We tried the seven course tasting menu. We found the dishes creative, the service was great and overall the dinner was very filling.
